Every manicure at our Oklahoma City nail salon follows the same unhurried routine — the one our Nichols Hills and Quail Creek clients have counted on since 1996.
Plan on 30-40 minutes for a natural nail manicure and 45-90 minutes for gel, dip, acrylic or builder gel.
Step 1
We start with a warm soak, then shape your nails to the length you like and tidy cuticles gently — no aggressive cutting, no rushing.
Step 2
A light buff smooths ridges, then a hand and forearm massage with lotion leaves skin soft. Many longtime clients say this is their favorite part.
Step 3
We talk through wear time and nail health, then apply the finish that fits your week — classic polish, gel manicure, dip powder, acrylic or builder gel overlay.
Step 4
Everything is cured and inspected in good light, and you leave knowing exactly how to make the set last and when to come back for a fill.
Plan on about 30-40 minutes for a natural nail manicure, 45-60 minutes for a gel manicure or dip powder set, and 60-90 minutes for acrylic or builder gel. Fills are shorter than a new full set.
A gel manicure is polish cured under a lamp — glossy, natural-feeling and typically two to three weeks of wear. Dip powder is a durable colored powder sealed with resin, great for people hard on their hands. Acrylic adds strength and length for longer shapes. Builder gel is a lighter, more flexible overlay that protects natural nails while they grow.

Yes. Many of our clients have been with us for more than ten years, and we regularly care for thin, ridged or brittle nails. We'll suggest a gentler option — often builder gel or a natural nail manicure — instead of anything that stresses the nail plate.
